When installing a Sound Off Recreational #MCUVO1-P or #MCUVOO-P onto a motorcycle with an oversize throttle grip such as a Kuryakyn ISO grip, here are some helpful installation tips that show you how to do it.
Below are a few photos that will help you install this throttle lock onto a larger grip. The grips we are working with in the photo is a Kuryakyn ISO grip. On the back of the package, you will see the installation instructions and a diagram at the bottom that shows where to trim the filler for use on large diameter grips. The key to installing this onto the oversize grip is to carefully trim the rubber filler a little thinner than the instructions show so you can slip it between the lock collar and the Grip. We use a very small flat blade screw driver to work the rubber in with. One of the attached photos shows where we trim these beyond the grooved area to make it extra thin. We also use a little liquid soap on the filler to make it slip into position a little easier.
